Parent Meeting Update

EIGHTH GRADE CLASS MEETING
THURSDAY
APRIL 3rd
6:30 p.m.
MRS. DUNCAN SHAW'S CLASSROOM

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick reminder that we are soliciting donations for prizes for
the Spring Carnival to be held April 12th.

We are looking for gently used and new toys, puzzles, books,
games....anything that might be appropriate for children up to the age
of 11.

Sue Foster has graciously offered space in her garage to collect the
donations. Please contact her on her cell phone, #592-3217 to arrange
for drop-offs. The sooner the better, since we will need to take
inventory and then shop for items still needed.

As always, feel free to call me or email with any questions or
suggestions.

Reminder: Students in need of support:
Mr. Bois and I are willing to stay after and work with any students by appointment and with parent

permission slips. Our Office hours are 3-4PM Tuesdays and Thursdays (except on days of staff meetings).

Let us know what we can do to help you!

Important Information for parents: There has been a change in the policy for students to bring their laptops

to away sporting events. A notice is coming home today from the office. If a parent is going to the game and

takes possession of the laptop when the bus arrives at the away game, then the student can take their laptop

with them. If their is no parent to take possession of the laptop as soon as the bus arrives at the game, the

student can not take the laptop to the game on the bus. This is a security issue due to the fact that busses do

not lock and the laptops would not be secure on the bus during the game.
